Mr. McBride is a Principal at The Walnut Group. He has been associated with a number of Walnut's current and past investments including The O'Gara Group, Seed Media Group, Stir Crazy Partners, Goliath Solutions, Pinnacle Direct Marketing, and Adspace Networks. This includes acting as a Board Director or Observer, deal sourcing and execution, and portfolio company oversight. He is also a Founder and Managing Member of The Troika Group, an entertainment and development company that creates and operates entertainment venues and develops related real estate assets. Previously, Mr. McBride was a founding team member and Director of Sales at Gerard Biotech, a biotechnology company developing and commercializing tools for life science research.
Mr. McBride is a graduate of Miami University with a B.A. concentrating in entrepreneurship and political science. He is still active today as an alumni participating as a frequent guest lecturer and business plan competition judge to the Thomas Page Center for Entrepreneurship and as Advisor to the Miami Student Venture Fund.
